Welcome to Honeywood!

Welcome to Honeywood!

dragonflyThe Bumbles of Honeywood books are part of a programme designed to teach young children entrepreneurial skills in the classroom and at home. Through a series of 6 books, we explore the environmental plight of the honey bee and follow the community of Honeywood through their daily adventures.

The books introduce the children to enterprising skills which are important for them to achieve successful futures. The programme also includes a large number of fun interactive exercises for young learners to practice their new skills at home. Designed by teachers and enterprise experts this programme also improves numeracy, literacy and digital skills while developing their creativity, problem solving and team working skills helping them to become ambitious capable learners.

Events

Over the past 6 months we have been delivering our fun interactive Bumbles of Honeywood enterprise activities all over South Wales, fine tuning them ready to launch to schools and parents in September.

We are delighted with the responses we have received from both the children and teachers and here are pictures and quotes from the children and teachers we have engaged with.
